Mold Design & Engineering Capability at Junvor

At Junvor, high-quality mold manufacturing begins with strong engineering and professional design capability. Our experienced team of mold designers brings over 10 years of expertise in material properties, mold structures, and complex tooling development, ensuring every project is handled with precision and care.

Before design execution, we conduct mold flow analysis and participate in technical discussions with tooling engineers and related departments to identify and eliminate potential manufacturing risks in advance. This collaborative approach ensures optimal design performance, improved manufacturability, and faster lead times while maintaining strict quality standards.

Our design capabilities include industrial design, product appearance design, structural design, 2D & 3D mold design, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and mold flow analysis—providing complete engineering support from concept to production.

Our Custom Mold Design Capabilities

DFM Report (Design for Manufacturability)

Our DFM analysis service ensures optimal manufacturability by identifying and resolving critical design issues at an early stage. We evaluate tolerances, structure, and process constraints to reduce risks, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth mass production.

Moldflow Analysis

Using advanced Moldflow simulation tools, we analyze resin behavior during injection molding to optimize product and mold design. This helps reduce trial iterations, avoid costly modifications, and significantly shorten development cycles while improving final part quality.

2D & 3D Mold Design

We provide precise 2D and 3D mold design services to evaluate product structure, detect potential issues, and optimize tooling details. This ensures accuracy, minimizes design errors, and improves mold performance before manufacturing begins.

Complex Geometric Design Capability

Junvor specializes in designing molds with complex geometries, including thin walls, deep ribs, undercuts, curved surfaces, and threads. Using SolidWorks and UG NX, combined with multi-slide and side-core technologies, we deliver highly accurate and manufacturable solutions for demanding applications.

Reverse Engineering & Mold Development

Junvor provides advanced reverse engineering services, converting simple sketches or 2D drawings into precise 3D mold models to ensure accurate and reliable manufacturing. We can also reconstruct existing parts to create high-precision digital models for production use.

In addition to single- and multi-cavity molds for structural foam molding, resin transfer molding, and other processes, we also design and manufacture multi-part molds for large or complex components. With a wide selection of engineering materials and resins, we support both prototype development and full-scale production molds tailored to different product life cycles.

Prototype & Test Molding Solutions

Prototype and trial molds are essential when transitioning from product development to mass production. Unlike final production molds, these are typically made using engineering plastics, aluminum, or 3D printed materials, allowing for fast validation of design and functionality.

Junvor’s test molding solutions help customers evaluate product performance, identify design improvements, and reduce risks before committing to expensive steel tooling. These molds are ideal for short production runs, functional testing, and iterative development, significantly lowering overall project costs while accelerating time to market.
